Visit the Museum with its wide range of historic relics and the 400-year-old mosque and the "Hukuru Miskiiy" with some of the finest coral carvings give you an insight into the country's unique history. During your Escape and Experience, you will discover the eclectic historical background and abundant culture of Maldives by visiting the Islamic Centre, the Munnaaru (Minaret), the shrine of Abul Barakath Yousuf Al-Barbari, the former presidential palace, Sultan Park, the National Museum and the tomb of Mohamed Thakurufaanu. Our guide will also take you to the local fruit and vegetable market where sumptuous samples of Maldivian treats await to tantalize your taste buds. You will also visit the fascinating fish market, which exhibits a vast array of freshly caught fish.

Apart from its magnificent marine life, the Maldives is abundant with coral reefs, turquoise lagoons and white sandy beaches. Our Seaplane photo flight allows you to fully appreciate this picturesque country from the air. Your camera will be an indispensable tool to capture the natural beauty of these tropical islands, resembling tiny pieces of gems studded in a vast aquamarine canvas painted by the ocean. The plane lands at your feet on the beach and will take you on a 25-minute flight within the Atoll.

Maldivian Air Taxi operates this excursion; therefore the confirmation for the sea plant flight must be arranged by 19:00 hours on the day prior to the flight.

Fishing is the lifeline of Maldives, for centuries it has been the livelihood of people and still determines the rhythm of life on Hembadhu. The methods of fishing vary depending on the type of fish and the time of the day. Night fishing, or sunset fishing, remains as one of the most popular experiences. This excursion allows you to take in the glorious spectrum of sunset while discovering the traditional way of fishing, on board on our authentic Maldivian Dhoni.

Our wooden boat will anchor by a reef, close to our island. Guests can try their hand with fishing lines, tackle and bait and tries to catch reef fish such as Grouper, Red Snapper, Squirrel Fish, Skip Jack Tuna and Barracuda.

Surrounded by the translucent waters of the Indian Ocean and a coral reef teeming with a multitude of brightly coloured fish, you will enjoy a refreshing swim or snorkel in this isolated haven or simply marvel at the dynamic panorama.

Lunch is no ordinary picnic. You dine from a barbeque set up in the middle of nowhere. Our chef will be delighted to prepare a feast you will never forget.

After lunch you will visit an authentic Maldivian fishing village accompanied by our guest relations officer, who will give you an insight into the history, culture and tradition of the Maldives.
